Dear Lia,

I would like to thank the Wayoutback team for giving me the great opportunity to join one of your 5 days tour. It has been one of the best experience I had during my stay in Australia. Everything was perfect even if we broke down twice, but this is part of the outback and I guess we were all there to experience adventure so we lived it and it helped the group to get even closer.

Josh our guide had a great knowledge about the aboriginal culture and nature, sleeping in swags was a quite a fun experience (even if I was scared some dingoes would come around us at night ..) and most of all, I really loved to hike in Kings Canyon & the West Macdonnels Ranges.

So I will defintely recommend this 5 days tour to all the clients that are looking for adventure and really get away from all the crowd.

Thank you very much again, I really enjoyed it !

Best Regards,

Johanna

Hello,

I just wanted to email and thank you for a fantastic/wonderful trip into the outback.

Everything was of exceptional quality - the guide (Bradley), accom (5* swag), vehicle, food, information, time management, experience - everything.

It will be my pleasure to publicise Wayoutback Tours to ALL BWT staff.

Also, I picked a 'feedback' form after the tour, but have misplaced this between Alice and Sydney - if you could email this to me, I would be happy to complete and send back (along with a few photos).

Thanks again,

Kind regards,
Tim

Dear Don,

I wish to thank you for providing the opportunity for myself to go on a Territory Discoveries FAMIL accompanying your 5 Day Wayoutback tour, on the 15th September. Our guide was Paul; he is truly an asset to your company. He was, at all times, highly professional, engaging and informative. It’s fantastic to see someone so passionate about their job being able to pass their knowledge onto others.

The tour itself was an amazing experience. The Oak Valley component certainly gives you a competitive edge over many of the other tour companies. Craig, as operator of Oak Valley Homestead, gave one of the most insightful viewpoints of the merging of Indigenous and European cultures that I have ever heard. The intimacy of your group tours is also a highlight, as it allows for great bonding.

Whilst the use of swags limits your market somewhat to those with a camping mind-set, this experience also adds authenticity to the whole journey. For some people on our tour, their biggest highlight was being able to sleep under a star-lit sky on a nightly basis.

As far as meeting dietary requirements, this was also handled exceptionally well, with little hardship met to cater for those who were lactose intolerant or vegetarian.

Once again, sincere thanks for the opportunity to experience your tour. Clients appreciate the fact that we, as sales consultants, have participated ourselves, as it means we know the answers to specific questions, and are better able to sell your product!

A rave and review about your tour will also be featuring on our Territory Discoveries website in approximately a week, if you would also like to view it. The address is www.territorydiscoveries.com

From a number of Agents that went out on a Famil with Wayoutback

Hi Karen,

Hope this finds you well and enjoying your new role as a mum. Firstly, I would like to thank you and Don for giving us this opportunity to show off Central Australia to our agents with Wayoutback Safaris. I thoroughly enjoyed the journey. I have had the privilege of visiting these areas on a number of occasions with various operators and I must say your trip is not what I would normally book for myself and was pleasantly surprised just how much I got out of it. Paul the guide was exceptional his enthusiasm for this area and what he does shows he obviously has a genuine passion. The nature of the trip certainly put a few on board way out oftheir comfort zone. However, brought the group together…  so did the weather it was bloody freezing. Despite the fact we survived the coldest May Day ever recorded in Central Australia you will see from the following feedback never deterred us from this unforgettable trip. I would also like to mention a highlight for me would have to be Oak Valley and Craig Ross he gave me so much more of an understanding about Aboriginal culture and there way’s.

Thank you Don for meeting us briefly on duration at Lasseters whish we had a bit more time to chat.
Take care!  Regards and Well done to Paul

Cheers  Becc E J

Wayoutback Safaris:    Great adventure.  Paul our guide was great and nothing seemed too much trouble.  Even though we had not the best of weather he did the best he could to make us comfortable and was also full of interesting information. I really enjoyed the stop at Oak Valley Aboriginal Community and our host.  He was very passionate about the land and his people and was also very down to earth and honest.

Wayoutback Safaris - (Guide Paul Jackman)
My favourite part of the trip (and the part I was most worried about to start with). Paul really made the tour for us - it was a very unique way to see the NT and I think made it all the more special, I think the other groups really missed out by not doing it. Paul was very professional but still lots of fun. This is a trip I would definitely recommend to clients. The bus was good and very well suited to what we were doing and I still can't believe that Paul could cook a whole meal over an open fire (I ruin things that are microwaveable!) I really enjoyed the time we spent at Oak Valley as well - definitely a highlight!

My Rave and Review- Wayoutback Safari's

We were met at our hotel by our guide Paul (whom we affectionately named Paul Jackman). As a bit of a princess I was a little concerned about "roughing it" but was relieved to find out that although we were sleeping it out we didn't not do without our creature comforts - we even managed to use our straightners most mornings!

On the first day we travelled from Alice Springs down to Yallara where we set up camp for the night, that afternoon we travelled out to Uluru to do the base walk and then had drinks as we watch the sunset changing the rock to a brilliant, glowing red. Dinner was cooked over the campfire followed up by toasted marshmallows for dessert with lots of stories and jokes around the campfire.

Day two had us up for an early start - we watched the sunrise over Kata Tjutu which was spectacular and then did the Valley of the Winds walk through Kata Tjuta to 3 lookouts scattered amongst the rock formation. Our camp that night was King Creek Station where Kings Canyon is situated.

Day 3 was spent at Kings Canyon - after making it up heart attack hill (the name makes it sounds worse than it is) we had a beautiful walk through the Canyon to the beautiful, tranquil Garden of Eden nestled right in the heart of Kings Canyon. We then made our way to Oak Valley Aboriginal community to meet our guide for the next day Craig and set up camp for the evening.

The following morning Craig took us for a tour through his community's land explaining the significance of the rock paintings and carvings all the while entertaining us with stories this was definitely a highlight of the trip. After this we regrettably made our way back to Alice Springs to conclude our tour.

Wayoutback Safaris
Normally this would not have been the way I would have chosen to get around.  But it was pretty fun and enjoyable, apart from the possibly safe (but I thought insane) driving though the mud I had a great time.

Wayoutback Safaris - Well where can I start!!! Paul was a gem wasn't he! He worked so hard and accommodated every change we made! It was a really great tour & was just a shame that the weather wasn't on our side as I was looking forward to camping under the stars! Having said that it certainly has given me the bug to try again (at warmer times of the year!) & hasn't completely jaded my experience. Thought the meals were really well structured and nobody ever went hungry.

The vehicle certainly kept our experience authentic!

Hi Don

Thank you SO MUCH for organising the famil for Caroline Mortier. She got back last night absolutely glowing, buzzing with happiness. She loved the trip. Kept raving all evening about how much better it was doing Wayoutback than any other tour because they could sleep under the stars, get away from the other tourists. And she was disappointed that she wasnt continuing on to do the 5 day trip because clearly that was the way to go. So well done to you - and congratulations to your staff for putting on a good one ! And again, thank you for your help.

The new product manager for Oz at Australie Autrement is the utterly fabulous Celine Moreno (I have to say that - I've cc'd her into this email) so if you want to discuss what possibilities there are for Wayoutback, you should chat to her. I believe Celine will be at ATE but then so will everyone.

You and your girls should come around again soon. Doesnt Jaz want to feed the kangaroos again ??

Warmest wishes

Deb Rock

I just wanted to let you know that we had a fantastic time on our wayoutback safari.

The experience was more than we had expected and definitely the way to go! Seeing huge busloads of tourists pulling up and rushing from site to site reminded us how lucky we were to be with wayoutback in a smaller more intimate group. Our guide Paul was fantastic with everyone (my daughter is a huge fan) and very informative, the meals were delicious and the daily hikes were well paced. We particularly loved Kings Canyon Creek and could have stayed at your campsite there for 2 nights!

I have recommended your company to several of my friends and colleagues. Expect to see more business from Altour and me in the future!

Thanks again for making such an excellent product available!
