Ancient Landscapes, Timelessness and Heavenly Light

No trip to Central Australia would be complete without visiting and photographing Uluru (Ayers Rock) at sunset and sunrise or walking through Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) and Watarrka (Kings Canyon), however, a host of other treasures await you. There is our remote campsite at Kings Creek Station that enjoys sensational sunsets over the George Gill Ranges or Palm Valley with its sandstone amphitheatres, pinnacles, gorges and unique Livistona Palms. Along the West MacDonnell Ranges is Gosse Bluff, the site of an ancient comet crater or further along, the Ormiston Pound Walk which is so full of wow factor. This experience will reveal to you all things symbolic in the Australian outback as well as features that thousands of travellers NEVER get to see.

* Or a replacement photographer if Grenville is not available due to unforeseen circumstances.

Your Chance to Really Experience the Outback as it Should Be

This is a true outback experience in 4-wheel drive vehicles, small groups (max 16 persons), camping (tents can be provided), open fires at night, sensational camp fire meals with quality food, all equipment provided and fully catered. Camping and sleeping under the sensational star-filled southern night sky will be a memory of a life time. You, the wild and no other!!

There is an old adage – “the best locations are the hardest to get to” and this is where Wayoutback’s name and tradition come from. People expect the best and we leave no stone unturned in achieving that.
